The Gateway Theater is a beloved Fort Lauderdale landmark with decades of history as a community gathering place for film and entertainment. Through the years it has served as a neighborhood anchor, bringing people together around the shared experience of movies on the big screen.

In 2022, during the challenges of Covid, Paradigm Cinemas acquired the Gateway Theater with a vision to revitalize it and bring new life to the moviegoing experience. What began as an opportunity to save a historic venue became a mission to redefine what a local theater could be -- a place where quality presentation, fair pricing, and genuine hospitality come first.

Today, Paradigm Cinemas operates two locations -- the Gateway in Fort Lauderdale and a theater in Yucca Valley, California -- each committed to providing an exceptional, affordable cinematic experience.

Our goal as a company is to encourage more people to come to the movies by not only offering a great experience with a quality movie presentation, but by making going to our theaters an affordable experience.

While we have little control over ticket prices, our food prices are significantly less than what other theaters charge. For families, or anybody budget conscious, this is an important distinction between us and other movie theaters.
